Hovby is a beautiful and chic hardened wood floor with a hard wax oil surface. The lush Shadow Brown shade adds elegance and character to a space. Paired with the Rustic grading, this floor presents beautiful colour variations and a powerful sense of wood. Made from FSC-certified European oak, the hard wax oil surface has a natural structure that adds to this wonderful feeling of wood. Due to the maintenance required, we recommend oiled wooden floors in bedrooms and living rooms where there is less heavy traffic. The floors work equally well in busier areas but will require more care in those spaces.

A sustainable choice
Sustainability is at the core of Bjelin’s values. Using the ground-breaking Woodura technology from sister company Välinge Innovation, our hardened wood floors process squeezes out every grain of goodness from each oak, walnut, or ash tree. This results in up to 10 times more flooring from the same amount of timber, with all waste recycled to create new wood powder.
