Can I use oil other than the recommended one?

The reason why we want to use our recommended products is because it is the tested product that we have obtained the absolute best results with, and we can thus guarantee that it will be a good result if the work is performed correctly. Floor machine is an aid that can facilitate the application and make the maintenance oil impregnate better into the wood and get a smoother surface. Of course, you can use a micro mop, but you must then use an extremely small amount of oil at a time so as not to saturate the floor too much in one and the same place and the method requires a little more accuracy.

If you want to use an oil other than the one we recommend in the care instructions, you are responsible for this risk and take responsibility for any future complaints that may occur - as this is not covered by our warranty. Everything that happens outside Bjelin's recommendations, in terms of installation and maintenance, is on one’s own initiative.
