Can hardened wood withstand anything?

Can hardened wood withstand anything?

By hardening the floor, we make the oak up to three times as impact resistant. This means that the floor does not get the typical deep notches and marks that easily occur on a traditional parquet floor. Hardened wood is a wooden floor, so it is not scratch resistant, but those deep dents that occur in ex. a parquet floor when you drop a glass in the floor, you avoid to a greater extent with a floor in hardened wood.

The scratches that occur are usually hidden during maintenance (cleaning and application of maintenance oil) of the floor as scratches usually only affected the oil. Should you get a scratch in the actual wooden surface, that scratch is usually no deeper than 0.2 mm, which means that it is also relatively well-hidden during maintenance. When choosing wooden floors, it is important that you take care of the floor and do not pull heavy furniture over the floor and vacuum up dirt and gravel.

If you have a damage to the floor that you want to get rid of, you can easily replace the damaged plank. Instructions on how to do this can be found HERE.
