Can we use adhesive tape on the floor surface?

Can we use adhesive tape on the floor surface?

No. Both our and our industry colleagues' installation instructions state that it is not permitted to attach adhesive tape to the floor. A hard wax oiled floor is more sensitive to damage to the surface than e.g. a lacquered floor.

If you attach tape against the floor surface, you risk damaging the floor. If this has happened, you can try to clean the floor with our cleaning products and then seal the surface with our maintenance products, according to the care instructions for the floor. In cases where any wood chips have come with the adhesive tape and dropped from the floor surface, the damaged plank should be replaced, as a surface treatment will only protect the damage from moisture and dirt, but not hide the damage that will continue to be visible, especially in trailing light.
