Not all floorboards in my package have the same shade - what do I do?

The oak's natural pattern and colour varies a lot, which is what makes each real wooden plank and wooden floor unique. All wooden surfaces that our products have come from real trees that have grown in the forest under different light and humidity conditions, which affects the colour of the heartwood. The wood's natural pattern and colour therefore always varies and that is exactly what makes each wooden floor unique. In our sorting and grading of the wood, we try to make use of as much of the tree as possible and in this way we allow colour variation. This applies to all organic materials and is not strange but completely natural.

The tree also has a lot of variation depending on the branches and twigs, which is reflected in the wood surface. Therefore, we have different gradings that define e.g. the amount of twigs and pattern in a wooden floor. At the same time, colour variations occur in all sorts but to different extents.

In other words, the variation should be there, it is therefore important to sort the planks during installation, so that this variation becomes more uniform and "flows" together nicely. Follow the installation instructions for best results. It is of course possible to sort out planks on your own initiative but note that this type of sorting cannot be linked to a complaint as it is within the framework of the product design.
