How much extra material do I need to order for the border and feature strips?

We recommend that in addition to extra material for cutoffs and trimming, you also order about 15% more material for the installation of border and feature strips. How much material you need depends on the design of the room and the skill of the person installing the floor.

To make the best use of the parquet strips, we recommend that you use A-strips on the border and B-strips on the feature strips, or vice versa. To further streamline material use, if you angle the corners (so that they meet at an angle of 45°), you can use both A- and B-strips.
